is doing this Four Month Challenge and I think it will be fun. I don't think I could read this many books in 4 months but,I think it would be fun trying. Even if I don't finish it in 4 months I plan to finish it anyways. Here are the details:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; &lt;div class="posttitle"&gt; &lt;h2&gt;The Four Month Challenge&lt;/h2&gt; &lt;p class="post-info"&gt;May 12, 2009 by &lt;a href="http://virginiebarbeau.wordpress.com/author/virginiebarbeau/" title="Posts by Virginie Barbeau"&gt;Virginie Barbeau&lt;/a&gt; &lt;/p&gt; &lt;/div&gt; &lt;p&gt;Virginie Says…&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;span class="postbody"&gt;So, I decided to make up my own challenge – mostly to push myself to get off the computer and read more! Plus, it will help me whittle down that TBR list…lol Here it is. Join if you like. It runs from June 1 to September 30.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;span class="postbody"&gt;&lt;img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-89" title="Fullscreen capture 5122009 13644 PM" src="http://virginiebarbeau.files.wordpress.com/2009/05/fullscreen-capture-5122009-13644-pm.jpg?w=188&amp;amp;h=250" alt="Fullscreen capture 5122009 13644 PM" width="188" height="250" /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;5 Point Challenges&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Read a Chick Lit book&lt;br /&gt;Read a historical fiction book&lt;br /&gt;Read a book just because you like the cover&lt;br /&gt;Read anything by Jean Plaidy&lt;br /&gt;Read a book with a number in the title&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;10 Point Challenges&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Read a book about Royalty (biography or fiction)&lt;br /&gt;Read a classic&lt;br /&gt;Read a book by an author you’ve never read before&lt;br /&gt;Read a celebrity biography/autobiography&lt;br /&gt;Read a hardcover book&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;15 Point Challenges&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Read a book with a one word title&lt;br /&gt;Read a book based on a Biblical character&lt;br /&gt;Read a book that was made into a movie&lt;br /&gt;Read a book by an author born in June, July, August or September&lt;br /&gt;Read a book with a summer word in the title (summer, sun, sand, hot, etc.)&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;20 Point Challenges&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Read a book in a series AND the one after it&lt;br /&gt;Read a Danielle Steele AND a Maeve Binchy book&lt;br /&gt;Read a book from the 1001 Books to Read Before You Die list (http://www.listology.com/list/1001-books-you-must-read-you-die)&lt;br /&gt;Read a book considered Christian Fiction&lt;br /&gt;Read a book of your choice BUT read it outside&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;250 Points total&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/7561515934323719859-3187273289781739301?l=boosbookshelf.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://boosbookshelf.blogspot.com/feeds/3187273289781739301/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=7561515934323719859&amp;postID=3187273289781739301&amp;isPopup=true' title='1 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7561515934323719859/posts/default/3187273289781739301'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7561515934323719859/posts/default/3187273289781739301'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://boosbookshelf.blogspot.com/2009/05/four-month-challenge.html' title='The Four Month Challenge'/><author><name>Boo Bear's Place</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/06745285942980197297</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='32' height='31' src='http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_erqDE-exJ8k/TGAUwpE-MLI/AAAAAAAAAlA/rrVwi1lwBMY/S220/40682_435720136984_715611984_4977703_86951_n.jpg'/></author><thr:total>1</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7561515934323719859.post-5411565821295378394</id><published>2009-05-24T12:08:00.000-07:00</published><updated>2009-05-24T12:11:44.588-07:00</updated><category scheme='http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#' term='contest'/><category scheme='http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#' term='Giveaways'/><category scheme='http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#' term='Sandra Gulland'/><title type='text'></title><content type='html'>&lt;a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f294/cool3315/Book%20Blog/mistresssungiveaway.jpg"&gt;&lt;img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer; width: 500px; height: 150px;" src="http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f294/cool3315/Book%20Blog/mistresssungiveaway.jpg" alt="" border="0" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I'm a Hugh fan of Sandra Gulland and I hope to win this. Lots of studying going on and cramming for a Placement Test &amp;amp; My Net Test that I have to pass by June 30th in order to go into the major of my choice which will be in the Medical Feild. ah ya ya!!! Not studied for a test in close to 11 years but that isn't what I will talk about today I will save that for another day.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I lost 1lb this week which I'm proud of cause for me it takes alot for me to even loose 1 lb. I guess having something to do such as all this studying Its help me not to go to food when I'm bored. I'm wanting to start trying to walk this week. I am planning on finally getting me one of those sensor bands since I don't have the Nike+ shoes so I can workout to my Nike+ and it be more accurate. They should really look into making treadmill that is Nike+ where you don't even need all the iPod Equipment for it to work. Hey I'd defiantely buy that!! lol &lt;br /&gt;My eating has been okay! There is room for improvement but,I'm getting there. As for workouts nadda. My hip is still hurting some days are worse than others. Almost like its been popped out of place. Perhaps when I had that fall back in January? I'm going to try and walk at least 3 days a week for 30 minutes and see if walking will help relieve the pain. Maybe I just need to get some weight off my hips. &lt;br /&gt;My neice,Beth always Compliments me if it looks like I've lost weight. She's Pregnant and hates it that I'm loosing and she is gaining. It feels good that other people notice. Its been 11 years this month since I've even been in School. I graduated and got my High School Diploma in May 1998. Boy that seems like ages ago! I've worked several dead end jobs in the last few years and this past year I worked in Home care and I loved it! Granted I did get a few patients I didn't care for but, there was a few that became like Grandparents I never had. Some became like Family I never had. Some issues arrived and I got laid off. I found out through a goverment funded program I could go back to school. &lt;br /&gt;So,now I'm have to take a placement test. I took one last week and passed the reading and I must of scored the highest score you can get. The Math not so well. I've always had problems out of math even in early grade school. But,they gave me the materials to study on and I have to take the test again on May 20th. So I have a little over a week to study for it. Its mostly Algebra Stuff. I needed to score a 10 and I scored a 9. Not too bad I don't think for being out of school for 11 years and not even studied not even before the test. So hopefully with a little preparation I can score a little better. I can do this! I got it!! I have to be positive that I can do this. I just need to do a tad little bit better.&lt;br /&gt;I also have to call and Schedule The Net Test which is a Nursing Entrance Exam. I'm not going to be a nurse but,I will be going into the Medical Feild and I have to have a 51% (i Believe can't remember the exact %) in the Reading and a 43% on the Math. I think if I can pass this first test I can pass that too! So,keep me in your prayers that I pass both of these tests. I am going to buy the study guide for the NET Test this week to study on and prepare myself for that test.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/7561515934323719859-2933027088860791011?l=boosbookshelf.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://boosbookshelf.blogspot.com/feeds/2933027088860791011/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=7561515934323719859&amp;postID=2933027088860791011&amp;isPopup=true' title='1 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7561515934323719859/posts/default/2933027088860791011'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7561515934323719859/posts/default/2933027088860791011'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://boosbookshelf.blogspot.com/2009/05/cramming-for-tests.html' title='Cramming For Tests!!'/><author><name>Boo Bear's Place</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/06745285942980197297</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='32' height='31' src='http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_erqDE-exJ8k/TGAUwpE-MLI/AAAAAAAAAlA/rrVwi1lwBMY/S220/40682_435720136984_715611984_4977703_86951_n.jpg'/></author><thr:total>1</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7561515934323719859.post-2839389221777669171</id><published>2009-05-05T16:49:00.000-07:00</published><updated>2009-05-05T17:06:16.032-07:00</updated><category scheme='http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#' term='Books I&apos;ve Finished'/><title type='text'>The Shack by William P. Young&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;★★★★☆&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;From &lt;a href="http://www.amazon.com/"&gt;Amazon&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Mackenzie Allen Philips' youngest daughter, Missy, has been abducted during a family vacation and evidence that she may have been brutally murdered is found in an abandoned shack deep in the Oregon wilderness. Four years later in the midst of his Great Sadness, Mack receives a suspicious note, apparently from God, inviting him back to that shack for a weekend. Against his better judgment he arrives at the shack on a wintry afternoon and walks back into his darkest nightmare. What he finds there will change Mack's world forever. In a world where religion seems to grow increasingly irrelevant "The Shack" wrestles with the timeless question, "Where is God in a world so filled with unspeakable pain?" The answers Mack gets will astound you and perhaps transform you as much as it did him. You'll want everyone you know to read this book!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Being a mother there was some parts of this that really tore at my heart. I couldn't imagine loosing a child in this way. I wouldn't dream of anyone being done in this way. There was some really good reading in this book and for the post part I liked it. Having a strict christian upbringing I do have a problem with the way The Father,The Son &amp;amp; The Holy Ghost Was pertraded to be. I don't know if this is a true story or what but,I just can't imagine anything but, what I've been taught. I know that My idea of God probably isn't the correct one but,I guess its my beliefs and I hold my beliefs very high. I liked this book but, this was the only problem I had with it cause I just don't believe in that sort of thing. However I did like the fact of spending a weekend with God. I however didn't like the way that there was answers for things if this story is true than thats okay for them I guess but,he had answers for things that only the one true God knows. I certainly don't believe that we can find the answers right now here on earth through the bible or even at church. I believe those sorts of things are yet to be known. It was a good book and I recommend it to anyone who has ever lost a child. But,I guess I don't agree with the authors thinking on it.&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/7561515934323719859-2839389221777669171?l=boosbookshelf.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://boosbookshelf.blogspot.com/feeds/2839389221777669171/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=7561515934323719859&amp;postID=2839389221777669171&amp;isPopup=true' title='1 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7561515934323719859/posts/default/2839389221777669171'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7561515934323719859/posts/default/2839389221777669171'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://boosbookshelf.blogspot.com/2009/05/shack-by-william-p-young.html' title='The Shack by William P. I&amp;#39;ve prob not been in over a year with my husbands car wreck and having a whole slew of books of my own and swapping sites i frequent. But thought of going back again. I guess i go through moods. Does the staff know you? The main people do cause over the year especially before having a child i went almost everyday! Our library is only 4 years old the moved locations and the new place is prob 5 times bigger than the old one. It has the bigger books and the children books in different locations of the library. You can get books from other library if they don&amp;#39;t have them there and are brought in my a mobile library. There are close to 30 &amp;#39;puters to use for projects or just to use the net. I love it there wished i&lt;br&gt; could visit more than i do. Since having my daughter I&amp;#39;ve stopped going. We have 2 mother Goats that where pregnant and Both has their babies in the past week. The first had 2 and the other had 3 yesterday. Our internet is cut off right now so I'm using my aunts internet while we are here. So right now My Aunts house later I'm going home.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;3 Facts About me&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I just found out about this Read a Thon the other day So I guess I'm a late bloomer to this.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I don't have internet acess so I'm just popping up every now and again&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I'm 30 years old and have a 2 year old daughter and I know I won't get much reading done but,my Goal is to read 250 pages today give or take in October I want to be better prepared. Maybe a sitter for the day?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;How many books do you have in your TBR pile for the next 24 hours?&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;br /&gt;I think I probably have around 20-30 books hoping to get at least 1-2 books total read. Not an astounding goal but,I'm a fairly slow reader. I like to savour the words and let it really sink in...lol&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Do you have any goals for the read-a-thon (i.e. number of books, number of pages, number of hours, or number of comments on blogs)?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Like I said before I have a toddler so probably not much reading is getting done today so,I would love to get at least 1 book read and maybe 250-300 pages read. I would love to also get around 20 comments on my blog today.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt; Any advice for people doing this for the first time? &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This is my first time doing this and I can already tell you is if you are married or have kids or even a signicgent other Get RID of them!!!!! Because they can be a huge distraction. I could get more reading done with out them. I would suggest rent a hotel room for the day or go somewhere where it will be just you or with some other readers because you could get more done with out all the distractions.&lt;div I know I’m late in posting my mailbox for the week but better late than never Right? Well,I’ve not done a Mailbox Monday and I know this will probably be the last Mailbox Monday I will be able to do using my Windows Live Writer. I’m probably going to be loosing my Internet in the net few days and I will not be able to use my Windows Live Writer anymore and I love WLW with a passion its the ultimate blogging tool.&amp;nbsp; Lately I’ve gotten lots of books and not sure If I’ve blogged about them. I love to Read Danielle Steel Books and I was on the look for the 1st Book in the Jesse Stone Series by Robert E. Parker and I found someone on &lt;a href="http://www.bookmooch.com" target="_blank"&gt;Bookmooch&lt;/a&gt; that had the 1st book Night Passage by Robert E. I have so many good books I want to read. &lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;div class="wlWriterEditableSmartContent" id="scid:7dc1bd33-94bd-46fd-a20b-0131235bcd47:a9806051-89dc-4d2e-90a0-dd122729d4fb" style="padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-left: 0px; float: none; padding-bottom: 0px; margin: 0px; padding-top: 0px"&gt;&lt;table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="2" width="400" border="0" unselectable="on"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;tbody&gt;&lt;tr&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;td valign="top" width="400"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;a title="Rules of the Road: Joan Bauer: Books" href="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/014240425x/martyrogers73"&gt;&lt;img src="http://images.amazon.com/images/P/014240425x.01.MZZZZZZZ.jpg" border="0" align="left" style="float:left"&gt;Rules of the Road: Joan Bauer: Books&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;ISBN&lt;/b&gt;: 014240425x&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;ISBN-13&lt;/b&gt;: 9780142404256&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/td&gt;&lt;/tr&gt;&lt;/tbody&gt;&lt;/table&gt;&lt;/div&gt; &lt;p&gt;At the local High School every year each Class as a whole has to read a book that each student Has to read and its mandatory and my Niece,Christina always gives me the book that they read seeing how they get to keep it.&amp;nbsp; She knows how much I love to read so she hands over her book to me. Its the 2nd year she has given me her book. She is already finished it and she gave it to me over the weekend. Its called “Rules of The Road” by Joan Bauer its a story about a girl who has issues who gets a job one summer as a chauffer and begins a cross country adventure. Looks like a fun read and hope to read it soon. &lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;I went to pick my niece up for her to come spend the weekend at my house and her mom asked if I had any books I could let her read. uummm…YEAH!!!! LOL&amp;nbsp; &lt;img alt="" src="http://www.zu14.cn/coolemotion/emotions/hi_3.gif"&gt; She said she has read every book that she owns which isn’t very much. So she gave me her little stash of books to put on &lt;a href="http://www.bookmooch.com" target="_blank"&gt;bookmooch&lt;/a&gt; or &lt;a href="http://www.paperbackswap.com" target="_blank"&gt;paperbackswap&lt;/a&gt; I didn’t tell her this but,I’m reading them First before I put them on my account to be swapped out. She gave me 3 books from A Coffeehouse Mystery series books 2-4 in the series not sure if she had book 1 or what??? I would really love to read all of them and I think as of now there are 8 books in the series. She also gave me a few others that I will post&amp;nbsp; here. &lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;div class="wlWriterEditableSmartContent" id="scid:7dc1bd33-94bd-46fd-a20b-0131235bcd47:e1a1beb3-caf3-495a-bf43-016c03ed999a" style="padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-left: 0px; float: none; padding-bottom: 0px; margin: 0px; padding-top: 0px"&gt;&lt;table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="2" width="400" border="0" unselectable="on"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;tbody&gt;&lt;tr&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;td valign="top" width="400"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;a title="Through the Grinder (Coffeehouse Mysteries, No. 2): Cleo Coyle: Books" href="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/042519714x/martyrogers73"&gt;&lt;img src="http://images.amazon.com/images/P/042519714x.01.MZZZZZZZ.jpg" border="0" align="left" style="float:left"&gt;Through the Grinder (Coffeehouse Mysteries, No. 2): Cleo Coyle: Books&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;ISBN&lt;/b&gt;: 042519714x&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;ISBN-13&lt;/b&gt;: 9780425197141&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/td&gt;&lt;/tr&gt;&lt;/tbody&gt;&lt;/table&gt;&lt;/div&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;div class="wlWriterEditableSmartContent" id="scid:7dc1bd33-94bd-46fd-a20b-0131235bcd47:61daa338-8fc2-435f-a38e-fb97025deb28" style="padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-left: 0px; float: none; padding-bottom: 0px; margin: 0px; padding-top: 0px"&gt;&lt;table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="2" width="400" border="0" unselectable="on"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;tbody&gt;&lt;tr&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;td valign="top" width="400"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;a title="Murder Most Frothy (Coffeehouse Mysteries, No. 4): Cleo Coyle: Books" href="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0425211134/martyrogers73"&gt;&lt;img src="http://images.amazon.com/images/P/0425211134.01.MZZZZZZZ.jpg" border="0" align="left" style="float:left"&gt;Murder Most Frothy (Coffeehouse Mysteries, No. 4): Cleo Coyle: Books&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;ISBN&lt;/b&gt;: 0425211134&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;ISBN-13&lt;/b&gt;: 9780425211137&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/td&gt;&lt;/tr&gt;&lt;/tbody&gt;&lt;/table&gt;&lt;/div&gt; &lt;div class="wlWriterEditableSmartContent" id="scid:7dc1bd33-94bd-46fd-a20b-0131235bcd47:c57f9998-8a8a-4482-b633-406682c62a72" style="padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-left: 0px; float: none; padding-bottom: 0px; margin: 0px; padding-top: 0px"&gt;&lt;table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="2" width="400" border="0" unselectable="on"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;tbody&gt;&lt;tr&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;td valign="top" width="400"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;a title="Decaffeinated Corpse (Coffeehouse Mysteries, No. 5): Cleo Coyle: Books" href="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0425216381/martyrogers73"&gt;&lt;img src="http://images.amazon.com/images/P/0425216381.01.MZZZZZZZ.jpg" border="0" align="left" style="float:left"&gt;Decaffeinated Corpse (Coffeehouse Mysteries, No. 5): Cleo Coyle: Books&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;ISBN&lt;/b&gt;: 0425216381&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;ISBN-13&lt;/b&gt;: 9780425216385&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/td&gt;&lt;/tr&gt;&lt;/tbody&gt;&lt;/table&gt;&lt;/div&gt; &lt;p&gt;A Coffeehouse Mystery Series&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;On What Grounds&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Through the Grinder&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Latte Trouble&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Murder Most Frothy&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Decaffeinated Corpse&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;French Pressed&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;ESPRESSO SHOT&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;and Coming soon….&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Book #8 in the Coffeehouse Mystery Series&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;She also has a haunted bookshop mystery series that looks good too so check out &lt;a href="http://www.coffeehousemystery.com" target="_blank"&gt;CoffeeHouse Mystery&lt;/a&gt; to get more info on Cleo Coyle’s books. Like I told Mel on her Blog &lt;a href="http://www.boxsofchocolates" target="_blank"&gt;Box of Chocolates&lt;/a&gt; this morning I never planned on Being one of these Top Bloggers to get tons of Followers. I love all of them and I love talking to people. There are times in life where I just Don’t have the time to talk to everyone. Even on the Blogs I frequently visit I don’t always get to leave a comment. I use &lt;a href="http://www.newsgator.com" target="_blank"&gt;NewsGator&lt;/a&gt; to read my feeds and I can sync all my Feeds throughs NetNewsWire App on my iPod Touch. I try to keep up with all my faves but, like I said I’m just too busy to comment on all of them all the time. I’m a Stay at Home Mom and Yes,I am busy believe it or not. I couldn’t fathom how much more busy I’d be if I had more kids…lol. I never wanted to have lots of readers or so Called followers to read my blog. At first it was just to vent about what was bugging me and still I use it for that at times. But,I’ve tried to keep my blog private from Friends and Family cause,I feel its just that……PRIVATE! I guess I’m crazy that way I’d rather complete strangers read my thoughts than my closest family and friends. I currently blog mostly about my weight loss efforts and I guess I haven’t been real to even the closest of friends in real life. I blog because If I need to vent I have an outlet to do so and Its ALWAYS Helped me to write things out and clear my head.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Now I first Started going to &lt;a href="http://www.myspace.com" target="_blank"&gt;MySpace&lt;/a&gt; mainly because My step-Daughter,Andrea was living with us and she kept encouraging me to start an account. I hooked up with old friends and even realized I even had family on there. I thought it was awesome that you can get all kinds of friends on MySpace. I Would go to Sites like &lt;a href="http://www.cafemom.com" target="_blank"&gt;CafeMom&lt;/a&gt; or &lt;a href="http://www.babyfit.com" target="_blank"&gt;Babyfit&lt;/a&gt; Among other sites and Others where posting their myspace info so I did too. I got lots off ppl to add me that way and don’t get me wrong I’m sure they are great people but,I can count on one hand how many times I’ve talked to them. I guess I just don’t have much in common with these “mommies” I guess I just thought it was neato at first to talk to her mommies online. I rarely use myspace now that my Step-Daughter moved in with her mother. I don’t know why I guess Having a Toddler who is more than I can handle at times I just think its more of a hassle to even turn my computer on when she’s awake! !! I have an iPod Touch and I have the MySpace Mobile App on there but,I just don’t like using it. Its more of a hassle to me!! But,if you love MySpace and Want to add me Feel free too because Who can’t use more friends. But if you want to add me I hope You will talk to me. Lately I rarely get on there but just to check messages. Here is &lt;a href="http://www.myspace.com/ezziriah" target="_blank"&gt;my MySpace Profile&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;At some Point I Joined Facebook but,Can’t Remember when really just to find some old High School Friends that wasn’t on Myspace. I found some friends and we talk ocassionally but,Frankly I use it mainly to update what I’m doing.&amp;nbsp; I’ve just recently started to use it more. I’ve lots of old Friends and some new but,I vowed Facebook wouldn’t be like my MySpace. I guess I use it for a select few internet friends. I Try Not to post anything about my blogs on there because to me its very private and just don’t want alot of old friends knowing some stuff. It’s weird how you don’t want ppl you’ve known all your life knowing CERTAIN Things about your life. Although I have posted my blog links and Hopefully those few ppl who have checked it out won’t take offence to anything I say. I use Facebook alot more now I like the Face that you can add the Twitter App and be able to update your twitter status on Twitter or any Mobile Twitter App and that same Status is updated on your Facebook too!! I think thats just neat!! So if you didn’t know that and want to save time you now have that info…lol So,if you want to look me up I don’t mind here i am on &lt;a href="http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=715611984&amp;amp;ref=name" target="_blank"&gt;Facebook&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;I started looking at more Blogs and I found &lt;a href="http://www.ijustine.com" target="_blank"&gt;iJustine&lt;/a&gt; cause I had seen a video of &lt;div class="wlWriterEditableSmartContent" id="scid:5737277B-5D6D-4f48-ABFC-DD9C333F4C5D:a17e4581-0ea9-43b3-8a7d-f57354cf049e" style="padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-left: 0px; float: right; padding-bottom: 0px; margin: 0px; padding-top: 0px"&gt;&lt;div id="c359dfbc-dc12-4138-bffb-95e227b46e3d" style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; display: inline;"&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UdULhkh6yeA&amp;amp;hl=en&amp;amp;fs=1" target="_new"&gt;&lt;img src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_erqDE-exJ8k/SdP8oYCnqPI/AAAAAAAAAWc/5AKuKYh9Ihk/video25161e88a760%5B6%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="border-style: none" galleryimg="no" onload="var downlevelDiv = document.getElementById('c359dfbc-dc12-4138-bffb-95e227b46e3d'); downlevelDiv.innerHTML = &amp;quot;&amp;lt;div&amp;gt;&amp;lt;object width=\&amp;quot;425\&amp;quot; height=\&amp;quot;355\&amp;quot;&amp;gt;&amp;lt;param name=\&amp;quot;movie\&amp;quot; value=\&amp;quot;http://www.youtube.com/v/UdULhkh6yeA&amp;amp;hl=en&amp;amp;fs=1&amp;amp;hl=en\&amp;quot;&amp;gt;&amp;lt;\/param&amp;gt;&amp;lt;embed src=\&amp;quot;http://www.youtube.com/v/UdULhkh6yeA&amp;amp;hl=en&amp;amp;fs=1&amp;amp;hl=en\&amp;quot; type=\&amp;quot;application/x-shockwave-flash\&amp;quot; width=\&amp;quot;425\&amp;quot; height=\&amp;quot;355\&amp;quot;&amp;gt;&amp;lt;\/embed&amp;gt;&amp;lt;\/object&amp;gt;&amp;lt;\/div&amp;gt;&amp;quot;;" alt=""&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;hers on Tv where she had her 1st iPhone Bill with a huge stack of papers for just one bill. I saw that she was on Twitter and she was talking about Twitter and I was curious about it and saw that you can post Status messages on what your currently doing and I just think its awesome that you can post what Your doing at that moment so of course I joined. I like that ppl that I’m following I can see what they are doing too. But,I will be honest &lt;a href="http://www.twitter.com" target="_blank"&gt;Twitter&lt;/a&gt; has became unfun for me lately. There has been lots of ppl I’ve added that uses Twitter to Chat back and Forth to other Tweeples and hold a converstation. ummm… HELLO People that’s what Direct Messaging is for!!!! So if you want to Say something to me and maybe hold a little convo PLEASE PLEASE DM me ppl not trying to be rude I just think it Ruins Twitter and I love Twitter so don’t ruin it for me tweeple. So if you want to follower me &lt;a href="http://www.twitter.com/BoosPlace" target="_blank"&gt;@BoosPlace&lt;/a&gt; please do so because I think Twitter is the best site EVER!!! Yes,I’m a Twitter addict and probably update my status a little too much! At times I feel that I’m just talking to myself and I have a select few that actually&amp;nbsp; respond if I do post a question on there and Truly feel at times I’m being ignored but,I do know lots of ppl that solely use Twitter on their phones too. &lt;div class="wlWriterEditableSmartContent" id="scid:5737277B-5D6D-4f48-ABFC-DD9C333F4C5D:065965b8-dfea-404d-bb37-ba58ca740839" style="padding-right: 0px; display: inline; padding-left: 0px; float: left; padding-bottom: 0px; margin: 0px; padding-top: 0px"&gt;&lt;div id="f4d8d786-cd27-44e3-bedb-0384eddbafb2" style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; display: inline;"&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PN2HAroA12w&amp;amp;hl=en&amp;amp;fs=1" target="_new"&gt;&lt;img src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_erqDE-exJ8k/SdP8oqEOtVI/AAAAAAAAAWg/6vKuJfeUB4U/videoec33279590e4%5B6%5D.jpg?imgmax=800" style="border-style: none" galleryimg="no" onload="var downlevelDiv = document.getElementById('f4d8d786-cd27-44e3-bedb-0384eddbafb2'); downlevelDiv.innerHTML = &amp;quot;&amp;lt;div&amp;gt;&amp;lt;object width=\&amp;quot;425\&amp;quot; height=\&amp;quot;355\&amp;quot;&amp;gt;&amp;lt;param name=\&amp;quot;movie\&amp;quot; value=\&amp;quot;http://www.youtube.com/v/PN2HAroA12w&amp;amp;hl=en&amp;amp;fs=1&amp;amp;hl=en\&amp;quot;&amp;gt;&amp;lt;\/param&amp;gt;&amp;lt;embed src=\&amp;quot;http://www.youtube.com/v/PN2HAroA12w&amp;amp;hl=en&amp;amp;fs=1&amp;amp;hl=en\&amp;quot; type=\&amp;quot;application/x-shockwave-flash\&amp;quot; width=\&amp;quot;425\&amp;quot; height=\&amp;quot;355\&amp;quot;&amp;gt;&amp;lt;\/embed&amp;gt;&amp;lt;\/object&amp;gt;&amp;lt;\/div&amp;gt;&amp;quot;;" alt=""&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&amp;nbsp; I saw this cute Video about Twitter on YouTube the other day that another blogger posted on her site and I thought it was so Cute!!! Former Baltimore cop Nate Burke accepts the unlikely post of police chief of Lunacy, Alaska (pop. 506), to stave off the depression caused by divorce and the traumatic death of his partner, for which he holds himself partly responsible. His early days in the close-knit town are quiet except for minor disturbances and a dalliance with a feisty bush pilot, Meg Galloway. Then Meg's father, who disappeared 16 years before, is found frozen in a remote mountain cave, an ice ax in his chest. The discovery that Pat Galloway was murdered—most likely by a local—shakes up the town and drives his murderer to commit a second, cover-up killing. Though state authorities dismiss that death as suicide, Nate pursues it as a crime—a decision that puts him at odds with many outspoken Lunatics, as the townspeople call themselves. With quiet inexorability he fields the flak, uncovers long-forgotten events and finds a tough but loving balance with the fiercely independent Meg. Though billed as romantic suspense, the novel forsakes artificial genre conventions in favor of a wry, affectionate look at community bonds, generational wounds and soul-testing landscapes. The result is a richly textured novel that captures the intimacy of smalltown police work, the prickliness of the pioneer spirit and the paradox of a setting at once intimate and expansive, welcoming and hostile, indisputably American and yet profoundly exotic to those in the Lower 48.&lt;br /&gt;Copyright © Reed Business Information, a division of Reed Elsevier Inc. I read just about anything that I can get my hands on. &lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Here are a few of my favorite Authors&lt;/p&gt; &lt;blockquote&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;img src="http://www.dotnetscraps.com/samples/bullets/017.gif" align="middle"&gt; Danielle Steel&amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;&lt;img src="http://www.dotnetscraps.com/samples/bullets/017.gif" align="middle"&gt; Nicholas Sparks&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;&lt;img src="http://www.dotnetscraps.com/samples/bullets/017.gif" align="middle"&gt; Patricia Cornwell&lt;br&gt;&lt;img src="http://www.dotnetscraps.com/samples/bullets/017.gif" align="middle"&gt; Nora Roberts&lt;br&gt;&lt;img src="http://www.dotnetscraps.com/samples/bullets/017.gif" align="middle"&gt; James Patterson&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/blockquote&gt; &lt;p&gt;I would love to Eventually read all the works from all my favorite Authors but with a 2 year old running around sometimes thats just not possible.&amp;nbsp; I’m Currently reading “Twilight” by Stephenie Meyer and “The Shack” by William P. Young . Yes,I know to completely different books. LOL a little good and a little evil &lt;img alt="" src="http://www.zu14.cn/coolemotion/emotions/zz_10.gif"&gt;&amp;nbsp; Anyways,I’ve not reading much since having a child 2 years ago but, trying to get back into it once again….&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;I wanted to tell all of you that keeps up with my blog(s) about a Great Program that you should really invest in especially if you enjoy reading as much as I do. Its called &lt;a href="http://www.lexcycle.com/" target="_blank"&gt;Stanza&lt;/a&gt; please click on the link to get more info. Its FREE app you Can get through the Apple iTunes App Store with the same name. There are various Sites I guess you can call them through the app you can go to to get Various Ebooks to read. If you love reading and don’t want to have to carry a book around with you then this is the App to get. Now don’t get me wrong the Kindle is on my wishlist and it would be great to have but, this is an alternative if you already carry an iPhone or iPod Touch around like I do!&amp;nbsp; There is over 100,000 books and periodicals you can read and if you get the Stanza program for the Mac or Windows you can sync even more books to your read list. I’ve found some great ebooks at &lt;a href="http://geturbooks.webs.com" target="_blank"&gt;GeturBooks&lt;/a&gt; that you can save to your computer and then you can open it with the Computer Stanza program where you can choose to Share it and then you sync it through your ipod or iphone. If you want more help just leave me a comment and I would be glad to help your further. If your into reading then this is the program for you and I HIGHLY recommend it! I’ve read the first Part of Twilight in a few mins time. Its highly addictive…I plan on using it more in the future so check it out today!!&lt;/p&gt; &lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/7561515934323719859-4136221793544672479?l=boosbookshelf.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://boosbookshelf.blogspot.com/feeds/4136221793544672479/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=7561515934323719859&amp;postID=4136221793544672479&amp;isPopup=true' title='0 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7561515934323719859/posts/default/4136221793544672479'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7561515934323719859/posts/default/4136221793544672479'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://boosbookshelf.blogspot.com/2009/03/joy-of-reading.html' title='The Joy of Reading'/><author><name>Boo Bear's Place</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/06745285942980197297</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='32' height='31' src='http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_erqDE-exJ8k/TGAUwpE-MLI/AAAAAAAAAlA/rrVwi1lwBMY/S220/40682_435720136984_715611984_4977703_86951_n.jpg'/></author><thr:total>0</thr:total></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7561515934323719859.post-7795020235334921086</id><published>2009-02-06T12:01:00.000-08:00</published><updated>2009-02-06T12:15:00.077-08:00</updated><category scheme='http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#' term='Currently Reading'/><title type='text'>Anne Of Avonlea by L.M. Mongomery&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;a title="Anne of Green Gables"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Anne of Green Gables&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/i&gt; (1908), the book covers the second chapter in the life of &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anne_Shirley" title="Anne Shirley"&gt;Anne Shirley&lt;/a&gt;. This book follows Anne from the age of 16 to 18, during the two years that she teaches at Avonlea school. It includes many of the characters from &lt;i&gt;&lt;a title="Anne of Green Gables"&gt;Anne of Green Gables&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/i&gt;, as well as new ones like Mr Harrison, Miss Lavendar Lewis, Paul Irving, and the twins Dora and Davy.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Its a very heartwarming story that has several movies as well as the Long Aired Television show,Road to Avonlea. I remember my sister,Crystal and Myself watching these movies as well as the TV show growing up. There wasn't many things our parents especially my dad would allow us to watch but, this was one show we enjoyed watching. It was made by Sullivan Entertainment and they have several heartwarming series that tugs at your heart so if you ever get a chance check them out.&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/7561515934323719859-7795020235334921086?l=boosbookshelf.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='replies' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://boosbookshelf.blogspot.com/feeds/7795020235334921086/comments/default' title='Post Comments'/><link rel='replies' type='text/html' href='http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=7561515934323719859&amp;postID=7795020235334921086&amp;isPopup=true' title='0 Comments'/><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7561515934323719859/posts/default/7795020235334921086'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/7561515934323719859/posts/default/7795020235334921086'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://boosbookshelf.blogspot.com/2009/02/anne-of-avonlea-by-lm-montgomery.html' title='Anne Of Avonlea by L.M.
